RF/Microwave Design in the Era of Connected Cars
December 2, 2020
Presenter: Dr. John Dunn, Cadence
Overview
Wireless communications and mmWave radar systems enable next-generation vehicles with a host of functions, ranging from safety and navigation features to infotainment and remote entry/control. Developing these systems requires specialized simulation/measurements, high-frequency device models, and design automation features, which are contained within the Cadence® AWR Design Environment® platform.
This webinar will examine several case studies where RF/microwave engineers have used AWR® software to address a range of design challenges in developing high-frequency components and systems for various automotive applications and their supporting antenna systems. Multiple examples will show how system, circuit, and electromagnetic (EM) tools combine to support mmWave design for automotive applications.
