Job Summary:

Altair is currently developing “Smart Works Analytics” a next generation Data analytics platform with data preparation, predictive modelling and visualization out of the box. It is our vision & mission to develop a highly visual, stunning, easy to use, ad-hoc Analytics platform that will realize the “Data Driven Enterprise” vision of our customers. We are developing a cool technology stack that enables companies to store, combine, analyze and visualize data of any size, shape & origins, with ease in an open and unified environment.

The platform can be deployed in private, public cloud or on an appliance. It is built for scale from the ground-up using the state of the art microservices architecture and containerized applications.  Our server side stack is predominantly developed in Java/Spring microservices orchestrated via Kafka messaging infrastructure. The web fronted is a highly adaptive React/Redux/Typescript driven development with GraphQL serving as the contract between the backend  and frontend. Very popular open source technologies/stack for Machine Learning and AI like Jupyter-notebooks, GPU processing are also integrated to the platform for state-of-the-art MLOps capabilities.

Basic Function

• Contribute to Smart Works Analytics platform software development
• Communicate and interact with all stakeholder of the product

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product features
• Writing clean, maintainable, thoroughly tested, and shippable production code
• Adhere to defined development process

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of product development experience creating enterprise scale web applications using tools and technologies below
• Dev Languages/Frameworks
• Java11/Spring (necessary)
• Spring Boot Microservices (necessary)
• CQRS/Event Sourcing is a bonus
• Python is a plus
• Dev Tools – gradle, npm, webpack, helm, docker, git, jira.
• Strong OS knowledge
