SUMMARY 

Join the ANSYS Customer Excellence team to support our customers on all the aspects of installation, licensing, configuration, and deployment of Ansys software into their design workflows, and grow Ansys’ business. You will use computer systems knowledge to provide technical post-sales support, find solutions to a wide variety of technical challenges and channel customer feedback to improve Ansys products. You will be a part of our positive, dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate engineers striving to deliver highest quality solutions to our customers, advancing your knowledge, experience, and your impact on the success of our customers and Ansys. This role is part of AGI (Ansys Government Initiatives) based out of Exton, PA.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Apply Ansys software configuration, integration and troubleshooting techniques to provide highest level technical support to customers and Channel Partners
  • Adhere to support processes to ensure high-quality, timely customer service that results in customer satisfaction
  • Act as initial point of contact for all licensing and configuration concerns
  • Perform business critical responsibilities related to software licensing
  • Enter and track all correspondence and details, from procurement through delivery, during the licensing fulfillment process
  • Manage, document, track, and report on existing software assets and resources including license keys
  • Work with sales, technical support, and documentation to improve processes and user experience regarding licensing and getting started with the software

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS, or equivalent experience, in computer or related technology field is preferred
  • Experience with Windows-based computer systems, familiarity with concepts that impact software deployment and network administration, familiarity with license-controlled software concepts and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Able to communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
  • Proactive, service-oriented attitude, focused on quality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
  • Ability to independently prioritize multiple responsibilities while exhibiting flexibility
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or equivalent experience in a computer systems support, administrator, and/or software developer role
  • Experience with supporting Linux-based computer systems
  • Hands-on experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software; Salesforce experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in software licensing methodologies
  • Experience with FLEXlm
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting license servers
