What you will do:

  • Together with your Account Manager you will own the entire relationship with our customers throughout their journey from onboarding through adoption, to growth and expansion.
  • You will nurture and cultivate strategic technical relationships at all levels and be the conduit between the customer and our internal teams.
  • Be a proactive part of the customer’s team, advising on strategies and optimizations to build trust and ensure the customer is successful with our products.
  • Have your opinion valued as a technical resource to all the sales teams at NetApp, while helping guide the future of the product and company vision.
  • Have a customer obsessed mentality, willing to go the extra mile, such that all of your actions are designed around customer success.

Key Skills

  • 6+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • 4+ Years of experience at a SaaS company working with public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 4+ Years of experience working in a customer-facing technical role (customer success, consulting, sales engineering, or related discipline).
  • Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
  • Experience with at least one Container orchestration platform (e.g. Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Rancher).
  • Experience working with and integrating enterprise systems using APIs.
  • Experience with Bash, Python, and similar technologies including writing and maintaining code for infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Interacts well with both technical and non-technical customers, attains relevant technical and business requirements, analyzes information, and designs comprehensive solutions.
  • Experience conducting solutions presentations and obtaining customer acceptance to solution design.
  • Strong capabilities in forging trust and engaging a remote or in-person audience.
  • A passion to continually study new technologies, most of all, help your customers!

Good to have’s

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab, Chef, Ansible).
  • Experience with one or more containerization platforms or products like Docker.
  • Experience with relational SQL and non-relational NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Version control system (e.g. Git)
  • Experience with JIRA (Issue Tracking) and Confluence (Requirements/Collaboration tool).

Education

  • Minimum degree or equivalent and relevant work related experience
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, M.S.) and/or Hyperscaler certifications a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Kubernetes (K8S) and Containerization experience is beneficial
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-a-code tools (such as Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Chef, Ansible
