WEBINAR: The Brave New World of Customized Memory

August 28, 2019 @ 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Today’s cutting-edge AI, imaging, machine learning and IoT low power demands are pushing IC designers away from standard products because they simply can’t meet the increasingly inflexible power/performance constraints. More customized low-power IP, devices and systems are becoming the norm. sureCore Ltd., understood that emerging demand and is meeting the need with the first low-power customised SRAM memory IP design service and low power mixed signal design service. This webinar will outline the emerging requirements for custom memory on the IP, device and system level; review the technical foundation for meeting customization demands and discuss the criteria designers should use as they explore the new world of memory customization.

REGISTRATION

This webinar will be presented by Paul Wells. Paul has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 30 years. In 2011 he co-founded sureCore, identifying and focusing on the market need for low power embedded SRAM. He built a respected board and an outstanding engineering team that has delivered silicon proven, low power standard product IP and a portfolio of innovative design services both capable of rendering near threshold operation. Prior to sureCore, Paul was Director of Engineering for Pace Networks where he led a multidisciplinary 70-person product development team creating a broadcast quality video & data mini-headend. He also served as Vice President, Operations at Jennic Ltd. where he successfully built the team from scratch as the company transitioned to a fabless model. Paul also held a variety of engineering and management roles at Plessey Semiconductors and Fujitsu Microelectronics.
