MultiMechanics ANSYS Plugin for Optimization

MultiMechanics and ANSYS are excited to announce the new MultiMech plug-in for ANSYS Mechanical, which is fully compatible with ANSYS DesignXplorer. Using this tool, engineers are now able to optimize components at both the part level AND the microstructural levels. Material variables in MultiMech can be defined as a DesignXplorer parameter for design studies. These controlled parameters include constituent material strength and stiffness, volume fraction and inclusion type.

This webinar also demonstrates how an engineer or scientist would use MultiMech to optimize a part comprised of multiple types of advanced materials.
