Website Soitec
Soitec is a company listed on the SBF 120 index of the Paris Stock Exchange that operates upstream of the microelectronics value chain. Our innovative semiconductor materials are essential to the operation of smartphones and the deployment of 5G. They also offer numerous opportunities for connected automobiles, electric and autonomous vehicles and the intelligence embedded in connected objects.
This position gives us an incredible responsibility, which inspires us every day: to make possible the massive adoption of technological innovations while considerably limiting their environmental impact, in a logic of responsible innovation and sustainable development.
What does the job consist?
You will join the Process team of the Dry zone alongside Anthony, your internship tutor. The process team is in charge of the manufacturing processes required to manufacture our products and works with a view to maintaining and improving the quality of these processes.
Within the PECVD park in which an oxide deposition step is carried out, you will be required to carry out several missions:
- Analyze the problems encountered with our existing FDC (Fault Detection & Classification) which allow us to detect drifts in our production equipment as quickly as possible
- Propose actions for the establishment of a robust and harmonized FDC: synthesize what already exists, delete what is obsolete and integrate new data
- Draft the OCAPS (Out of Control Action Plan) allowing us to follow the action plan to be put in place once the FDCs are triggered
- Synthesize changes and disseminate them to all teams involved in equipment
Requirements & qualifications
Student in engineering school or master’s degree specializing in industrial engineering, process engineering or chemistry, you are looking for an internship for a period of 6 months, ideally as part of your final year project.
You are interested in the dynamic production environment in a clean room and are curious to learn the manufacturing processes related to our innovative substrates.
Your autonomy, your sense of analysis and your ability to synthesize have been recognized several times in your previous experiences.
