Ollie has built his career at the intersection of deep technology and commercial growth, with more than two decades of leadership experience across the semiconductor, automotive technology, and advanced engineering sectors.
Before becoming CEO of Aion Silicon, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. He has previously held senior commercial and business development roles at a Li-ion battery startup, FTSE 100 engineering group GKN Automotive, and in motorsport at Williams F1, working on next-generation technology and high-performance engineering programs. He holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London and is an advisor to Silicon Catalyst, the semiconductor industry’s leading incubator.
Ollie takes Daniel on a deep and detailed tour of Aion Silicon and its rebirth from Sondrel. He describes the complexities of re-launching the company with a new charter and focus while retaining all the excellent capabilities developed at Sondrel. In a unique view of the process, Ollie explains how he and the company management quickly identified what needed to be retained and grown from the prior organization and what needed to be changed.
