Our Software Security and Quality business is all about building secure software—faster. That starts with our static analysis, software composition analysis, and dynamic analysis. So our customers can build security and quality into the DNA of their code at any stage of the software development lifecycle and across the supply chain. All while minimizing risks and maximizing speed of application development.

Associate Managing Consultant

The Associate Managing Consultant (AMC) role is the first step in pursuing the entrepreneurial path at Synopsys. The AMC should have a blend of project management and deep technical knowledge. The AMC manages multiple tasks for a client(s) such as; working with resource management to staff a project, advising the client on matters such as Software Security Initiatives (SSI) and managing the day-to-day logistics of projects such as Gather and Unanet updates.  The AMC is the point of contact for client issues and problems on engagements and ensures success through high quality delivery.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred

Preferred Experience

• Thorough knowledge of how the SSI works in their assigned client organizations
• Sufficient application security knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our services to the client
• Proven ability to successfully execute engagements for clients within budget
• Proactively identifying and communicating any opportunities for additional sales or risks to the project to the MC/MP
