Production Engineer

Job Description/Responsibilities

The employee will work on the production and testing of high-performance FPGAs at 16/7nm and below.  His or her responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop and maintain the test methodology for Achronix FPGAs and IP
• Develop ATPG/custom test vectors for fault testing
• Debug production and test issues; correlate as necessary to process parameters
• Correlate silicon performance and power with simulation data
• Work with Operations and Program Management to maintain records and documentation related to the production flow
• Suggest process improvements to reduce test time and improve yield
• Mentor junior engineers

Required Skills

• Familiarity with production test methodologies, fault coverage and fault analysis
• Experience working on the test floor and/or in a lab environment
• Familiarity with WGL and STIL formats for test vectors
• Experience designing/maintaining flows and methodologies from scratch
• Experience programming in a scripting language
• Experience with digital VLSI design and verification
• Familiarity with using and/or designing FPGAs is a plus
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with revision-control systems (e.g., perforce, git) is a plus
• Excellent debugging skills
• Well organized and excellent communication skills

Education and Experience

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science + 2-10 years experience
