The exhibition of EDA held in Japan(EDSFair) was merged into other exhibitions.
EDSFair is started at the next time with an exhibition named Embedded Technology.

Embedded Technology is an exhibition of the Embedded systems of the biggest in Japan. More than 300 exhibited this exhibition last year and gathered guests more than 20,000 people.

As for EDSFair, a guest and exibitors decreased at the peak by 2007.

I have attended this event in the past and really enjoyed it. Japan trade shows are very different than US or UK shows. I hope this new arrangement continues to promote EDA in Japan. I also wish you well in the current disaster. The videos I have seen are devastating!

Please post more information when you can!

Thank you for a message.

My family lived in Yokohama and was safe.
However, victims more than 10,000 people are predicted in Tohoku region.

Confusion continues now in Japan and becomes the blackout by electricity shortage in the Tokyo area from today.

The accident of the nuclear power plant is worried about, too.

I think that considerable time is still necessary till Japan is settled down.
