IT Support Engineer
Job Descriptions:
We are seeking a skilled person for IT support. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our server infrastructure, ensuring optimal uptime and productivity for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent knowledge of Linux Servers & Windows 10.
- Excellent hands-on troubleshooting over the Linux Servers issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain windows and Linux systems.
- Perform regular patching and updates to end users systems.
- Responsible for the closure of the Internal IT Tickets within SLA.
- Troubleshoot server issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
- Monitor server performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Provide technical support to end users on system and server-related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new servers and services.
- Ready to work in off-hours, if required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in server administration – Linux Server environment.
- Total working experience of 4 years or more on both Windows and Linux
- MCSA or MCSE certification in Windows Server. RHCE certification in Linux.
- Strong understanding of LDAP, SAMBA, Scripting in Linux.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and in off-hours.
