Job Summary:

Our client in Troy, MI is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is a Contract positions.

looking for a dynamic, experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer, with a specialty in structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for development, design, and execution of all aspects of structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems. Work closely with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering/Operations to develop an integrate structural adhesive, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems at a product, subassembly, component level and process level.

  • Be an integral part of an energetic team that’s challenging the status quo of design and process.
  • Develop and implement all structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems for a dynamic company.
  • Manage all aspects related to structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems during both the design, testing and manufacturing phases.
  • Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of the structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems for our company.
  • Collaborate with suppliers/partners and internal departments to execute the company’s structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to balance and maintain program timing, performance, and budget.
  • Deliver a Strategy for structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems that meets overall product performance requirements, CAPEX and Opex targets, as well as uptime, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Develop production execution of the structural adhesives, sealants, welding, fastening and body systems including product requirements, process documents, tooling specifications and standards, as well as document lessons learned for future programs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute cross-functionally to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the product/process development system.
  • Respond to executive team/internal team inquiries and cross functional issues to arrive at the best enterprise-wide balanced solution.
