Keysight manufactures high precision optical components such as lens, prisms, etc.  This position is to work in the inspection area for these parts.   You will be ensuring the quality of the optical products by using your metrology skills.    Your inspection data will be used to improve the manufacturing process to provide better quality to our customers. Must be able to verify accuracy of finished product, as well as support process and product development.  Focused on fabricating high quality products and quickly meeting customer’s needs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Skilled with optical metrology equipment
  • Skilled to visually inspect parts for defects
  • Optics handling skills to prevent scratches and defects
  • Good communications skills
  • Able to work on swing shift
  • Able to work standing or sitting in inspection environment
  • Computer data entry skills
  • Works well on teams
  • Familiar with optical measurements for flatness, surface finish, angularity
  • Familiar with optical inspection equipment such as interferometers, auto autocollimators, and CMMs.

Familiar with Scratch-Dig Surface Inspection
