Agentrys believes that a purpose-built multi-agent system for chip design shouldn’t be a quarter-long project. Agentic AI systems are becoming quite popular to cut design time and increase quality for complex chip design projects. The challenge is finding the right agentic flow for a particular application. There are many offerings on the market to address this need, but most focus on a pre-built flow. If the flow isn’t exactly what’s needed, design teams are faced with long on-boarding to customize the flow. Some opt to build their own flow from scratch.
Agentrys has taken a different approach to address this need. Using the company’s Agentrys Studio Platform, building an initial agentic AI flow takes about 30 minutes. The company is showing real case studies of how Agentrys Studio cuts the problem down to size at two events. There will be live demos of an agentic AI design flow at the upcoming Hot Chips Conference, to be held in Palo Alto, CA from Sunday, August 23 – Tuesday, August 25, 2026. And the company will conduct a webinar to take you through the process of creating a different agentic AI design flow on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
These are two opportunities to witness a revolution in agentic AI design flow development. Here are some details about both events as Agentrys shows you how to build a multi-agent system in 30 minutes.
Hot Chips 2026
Hot Chips is where some of the most advanced designs in the world are presented. Agentrys felt this audience would appreciate a way to simplify and accelerate the development of agentic AI design flows.
What Agentrys did was give a multi-agent system a processor design and a goal — and stepped away. No human tuning. No handholding.
Working autonomously, the agents explored thousands of design parameters, rewrote the hardware itself, and drove every candidate all the way to real, tool-verified silicon metrics — using an entirely open-source EDA flow.
The results were buildable designs that hit a timing target the original expert-tuned references couldn’t reach — while cutting power by 2–5X for select industrial workloads and trimming a significant amount of area. Every number measured on real tools. Every design verified correct.
The process was enabled by the Agentrys Studio Platform — a unique, category-defining multi-agent orchestration, optimization and evolution system that makes autonomous, end-to-end silicon co-design possible, for the first time.
Agentrys will be showcasing this work live at the company’s table at Hot Chips. You’ll be able to see how it works and understand the bigger implications of this technology.
Webinar – Agents Assemble: Build Your Chip Design Multi-Agent System in 30 Minutes
In this hands-on webinar, Agentrys will build a working end-to-end specification to GDSII multi-agent system live using open-source EDA tools, and then customize it for internal flows, scripts, and proprietary data.

The webinar presenter is Dr. Duo Ding, who is a founding member of Agentrys AI, where leading industry experts and visionaries are inventing the next frontier of chip design through Agentic Design Automation.
Duo has 20 years silicon experience across a broad range of disciplines. He has authored over 50 publications, ranging from AI in EDA to multi-agent systems. Duo holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Texas at Austin and is the recipient of the 2013 ACM Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award in Electronic Design Automation.
Topics to be covered during the webinar include:
- Agent building basics: agents, skills, tools, and workflows
- Building an end-to-end Spec2GDS multi-agent system with open-source tooling
- Customizing agents to drive your internal flows and reason over proprietary data
- Turning ad-hoc coding agent skills into managed, reproducible, scalable workflows
- Automatic evolution: how Agentrys multi-agent systems adapt themselves to new data and new tasks
If you are involved in the development of agentic AI workflows, or if you are considering the impact of this technology on your next design project, this webinar is a must-attend event. The webinar will show you how to build your own specialized multi-agent system in a single sitting—and know how it keeps improving after deployment.
