A primary issue today is that AI circuits are either too limited in capability or too power hungry. GP describes the genesis of a unique approach to this problem developed by Ambient. He explains that the approach is to use analog AI compute, but to create a hybrid analog/digital architecture that delivers high performance at low power.
Ambient has plans to deliver applications on top of its silicon technology but customers can also build applications as well, creating a very wide footprint in the market. The impact of this enabling technology can be quite substantial.
