Prior to that, Charlie was the CEO of Kilopass Technology, where he grew the core memory business into a successful acquisition by Synopsys. Before that, Charlie was an Entrepreneur in Residence at US Venture Partners and a Corporate VP at Faraday Technology, a Taiwanese semiconductor company. He joined Faraday after he co-founded Lexra, a CPU IP company. Charlie started his career at General Electric and IBM before focusing on microprocessor, semiconductor, EDA, and the IP business.
Charlie joins this podcast in his capacity at Board Advisor for Andes Technology. Dan explores the market position Andes occupies in the US, which is focused on higher end applications as compared to its position in other parts of the world. How some of Andes’ unique qualities are leveraged in the US market are discussed.
