R&D Data Engineer, Sr I

Job Description and Requirements

• Design and Develop high performance, fault tolerant, highly secure and scalable distributed systems with various big-data components
• Optimize and create ETL pipelines for real-time, high-volume and continuous data flow
• Design and Implement REST API (Java, Scala, Python, Ruby) solutions to interact with various internal and external components of big-data eco-system.
• Engineer frameworks for reusable services, customization/development required including creating reports and visualizations that provide insights
• Drive the platform design, engineered systems, delivery of any data and analytics requirements
• Publish and enforce technology best practices, configuration recommendations, usage design/patterns
• Work across multiple teams and business groups to setup the platform rollout activities
• Maintain and support the Data platform, cluster installation, provisioning application and associated services
