Project Managers are responsible for deploying state of the art building automation systems in a cloud environment with integration to both onsite technology (OT) and additional above site cloud services. This role involves working with experts in the Desigo CC BAS, AWS environments, and the latest Building X software. This project may involve working directly with financial services and life sciences customers, so experience in these verticals is helpful. Collaboration across our field team, Digital Business team, and the Austin-based Digital Service Center is crucial to the success of the position. This candidate will manage the revenue and gross margin of these digital projects to targets by controlling job costs and executing projects on time. There are aspects of this position that will require innovation to find a solution, as this business is growing but still new to Siemens overall.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Create and manage multidiscipline project plans and schedules
- Complete tech scope ownership; defining scope gaps and mitigation approach
- Complete financial ownership of a project
- Review contracts and coordinate with client, partners and legal teams
- Conduct business-level cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Coordinate with all relevant client departments (IT, cyber, facilities, financial, legal)
- Project subcontractor management to include scoping, bidding/procurement, onboarding and management
- Define contract deliverables for the extended project team (breaking down scope)
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with project management; 5+ years preferred
- 3 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Working with construction
- Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products.
- Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project
- Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents
- Demonstrate and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Familiarity or experience with HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security Systems
- Familiarity with evaluating OT to IT integration implementations. In other words, onsite controls to cloud system integration planning
- Experience with evaluating costs associated with implementing cloud-based analytics programs for new and existing building automation customers
- Experience with financial services and/or life sciences customers
- Familiarity with AWS environments and terminology around various AWS services
- AWS Cloud Practitioner

- The pay range for this position is $82,320 – $1411,120 and the annual incentive target is 10%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
