Keysight’s Global Services Organisation (KGSO) is looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our team, responsible for providing remote and on-site support services to our customers in the area of ​​Electronic Manufacturing Test Solution.

The focus here is on Keysight’s i1000, i3070 & i7090 In-Circuit Test Systems, the TS5000 family of functional testers, x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer and Keysight’s Pathwave Manufacturing Analytics (PMA) Industry 4.0 Smart Factory solution.

Support services include supporting our European customers in the area of ​​electronic assembly production with remote and on-site troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair of hardware and software components, as well as customer training.

Responsibilities

The tasks include, for example:

• Planning and implementation of system installations and system deinstallations at the customer site.
• Planning and execution of system calibrations on site.
• Installation of hardware and software/firmware upgrades and service notes.
• Professional and timely fault diagnosis, both remotely and on-site, as well as on-site repair of customer devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage difficult repair situations and escalations.
• Conducting customer training.
• Development of processes for the diverse tasks associated with this position.
• Lead field service and support projects that require coordination with other functions and the customer.
• Address a wide range of system problems of varying scope and complexity, including hardware, software, networking, application, and customer-specific circumstances.
• Support our sales team as needed; proactively identify growth opportunities to achieve Keysight’s annual commercial goals.

Qualifications

Our requirements for you:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Valid car driving license; willingness to travel by car and/or plane is essential.
• Flexibility to travel within Europe if necessary (estimated 50-60% with a focus on Germany). International travel is not excluded, but rather rare.
