AI and the Diagnostics of Everything Changes All

An AI is being developed for medical that can identify cause and effect over large data bases and is being used for medical, but could be applied to everything. With semis, sensors and memory advancing at an ever accelerating rate in performance and at the same time rapidly bringing down the cost/performance ratio we are already in a new age where the greatest skill sets will be advancing these powerful tools and developing real world applications. This is going to open up new frontiers and opportunities on many fronts. We must also consider any great power requires equally or greater wisdom and care for the greater the power, the greater the danger. I have no doubt this will also change the world of EDA and almost all other fields. It will also render much of education, business, social and political models obsolete. We are truly about to enter a "Brave New World", care and wisdom required. Any thoughts, comments or elaborations solicited and welcome. Since this starts with semis, the responsibility starts here and we must except it or the consequences of inaction.
