AEM10941 is a chip that uses photovoltaic cells as energy and dual-cell supercapacitors as storage management. AEM ICs provide the ability to automatically switch between primary/backup batteries.
The chip is designed to wirelessly power any sensor. System redundancy can be achieved when stored energy is exhausted. An optional main battery power source can then be used for charging.
