Mechanical Developer/Engineer – Pro-E

You’ll make an impact by:
- Review manufacturing issues and problem reports, identify solutions.
- Initiate, validate, and implement Engineering Change Notices as they relate to product development, improvements and/or cost reductions.
- Create part and assembly drawings, BOMs, product labels.
- Work on small to medium size projects. Create multiple design concepts & perform trade-off studies of those concepts to determine the optimal solution while managing and planning projects including scope of work, schedules, costs, and completion dates.
- Prepare prototypes for design feasibility evaluation and testing. Prepare and execute test plans.
- Contribute to “Design-to-Cost” projects to reduce manufacturing and material costs
- Collaborate with cross functional team to drive projects to completion.
Basic Qualifications:
- BSME
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Product Development Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of Pro-E / Creo or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), product design and concept testing.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Panelboard / Switchboard design experience.
- Familiar with UL and NEC requirements
- Hands-on prototyping experience.

- The pay range for this position is $73,080 – $125,280. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
