Staff Applications Engineer

Job Description and Requirements

The purpose of this position is to be part of our World Class Applications Engineering Team that is chartered to support and drive product usage within our major customer base.  Candidate should be motivated by a desire to use their overall ASIC and Design Knowledge to advance the overall usage of our tools and flows.

We are seeking a self-driven Applications Engineer to join our highly successful team.  The successful candidate will contribute to the overall support of our major customers, and focus on Static Verification Flows, including SpyGlass Lint, CDC, and VC LP.

Major tasks include: Technical support for Static Tools, regularly status meetings with customers and R/D, Diagnosis and Debug of customer and tool issues

Required Experience:
BSEE or MSEE with 3+ years of experience in EDA or equivalent
Experience in RTL (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL), Simulation, Implementation, EDA Tool Flows, Static Tool Flows
Experience with Perl, Python, scripting, automation is a plus
