Personal ID and ID management are critical to progress going forward and will be integral to every part of digital devices. Without a secure and manageable way of dealing with our personal ID and that of others we will remain stuck in the past with a major roadblock to the speed we need in verifying who we are and our complete digital identity. India is among the first to establish a widespread system to identify people and link the digital self using a fingerprint. This makes establishing your ID and digital self to others almost instantaneously and accurately. This has cut the time from weeks to moments the time it takes in India for one to establish and verify their digital identity using the Aadhaar system already in place. Blockstack will enable you to manage your digital identity. Combined together these type of systems offer to revolutionize social, professional and government structure. Combine this with the smart phone as an ID folder and wallet and the whole world will change dramatically. With vastly increased memory from 3dXpoint and new types of phase change memory combined with rapidly increasing processing power, the functionality of smart phones and wearable devices will also increase dramatically. We are becoming more and more digital beings and as devices manage and augment our senses, personal functionality and our health, a whole new frontier awaits. This opens up whole new frontiers for the semi market to explore and expand into. Having all payment, licensing, medical, personal and reference information in one place virtually or in actuality will enable large time and cost savings both for ourselves and those we interact with.
