yieldHUB has announced that award-winning semiconductor company Picocom has signed up as one of its latest customers.
yieldHUB’s eponymous platform helps semiconductor companies to improve yields, reduce scrap and get to market faster. The Irish yield management company offers a comprehensive and sophisticated array of solutions.
Bristol-based (UK) semiconductor company Picocom provides Open RAN standard-compliant baseband system-on-chips (SoCs) and carrier-grade software products for 4G and 5G small cell infrastructure.
Picocom VP of Operations Mike Davison spoke about the new partnership.
"Picocom selected yieldHUB based on prior experience with successful deployments. It is a valuable asset in our pursuit of operational excellence,” Mr Davison said.
“We use yieldHUB to archive and analyze probe, final test, and qualification results. It enables us to rapidly identify trends and variations that may indicate an overly sensitive test resulting in yield loss. It is simple to alter a test limit to determine its influence on yield or to generate a new wafer map with a modified test limit.
“This type of 'what-if' analysis accelerates the development of tests and expedites the identification and resolution of production test issues."
