Production Validation Engineer (Innovus)

Position Summary:

Candidate will focus on validation of digital backend EDA tool Innovus, and will mainly focus on placement and optimization, and will help testing on existing functionality and coming new features for optimization functions; besides, the candidate will be guided to develop testing methodology to improve testing coverage and to facilitate the issue detection and analysis

Position Description:

• Focus on validation of digital backend EDA tool Innovus, and will mainly focus on placement and timing optimization;
• Help testing on existing functionality/regression as well as new coming features for place/optimization engine;
• Help to develop testing methodology to improve testing coverage and to facilitate issue detection and analysis; use various script language (Perl/Tcl/Python) to develop evaluation utilities;

Position Requirements:

• Master on Micro-Electronics/Computer Science or bachelor with at least 3 years-experience in digital backend.
• Better to be familiar with at least one of the scripting language(Python/Perl/Tcl), experience with scripting design or automatic test/regression is highly preferred;
• Familiar with IC design flow, basic knowledge on STA/Power Analysis/Manuficaturing needed;
• Fluent in both oral and literal English
• Good self-learner and team-player
