As a RISC-V Emulator Maintenance and Upgrade Engineer at Semidynamics, you will play a crucial role in advancing our cutting-edge RISC-V cores. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and upgrading RISC-V emulators, ensuring seamless functionality with our proprietary hardware IPs. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with both RTL and software teams, contributing to the ongoing development of our RISC-V cores.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge:

  • Experience with RISC-V emulation frameworks such as Spike, QEMU or others.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and RISC-V assembly.
  • Familiarity with RISC-V architecture and RISC-V vector specifications.
  • Competence in bare-metal programming.
  • Bonus points for experience in LLVM/Clang, GCC internals.
  • Advantageous skills include hardware modeling experience and some exposure to RTL.
