Your Role as a Product Engineer at Arteris
We are seeking a Product Engineer specialized in the field of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and more specifically in the assembly and integration of complex System-on-Chips (SoCs).
You will be responsible for shaping the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and contributing to the user experience of our next-generation Magillem products (Magillem Connectivity and Magillem Registers).
You will define, specify, and help implement powerful, scalable features that enable chip architects and SoC designers to efficiently use our products.
This position requires a unique combination of:
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows
- Product vision and structured specification skills
- Expertise in modern UI/UX principles
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management, developers, and architects to write detailed and comprehensive specifications for new features and product enhancements, especially GUI-related features
- Design, implement, and validate functional prototypes or mock-ups of new features
- Work iteratively to refine concepts based on internal and external feedback
- Engage with customers and internal teams to gather and integrate product feedback
- Ensure that new features are delivered on time and meet customer needs
- Contribute hands-on to UX design when appropriate
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to product roadmap discussions
- Support product management in roadmap planning and feature prioritization
- Write and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, release notes, and knowledge base materials
- Use modern documentation and project tracking tools (Confluence, Jira)
What You Bring
- Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor design/verification, EDA tools, and/or complex engineering software
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows (RTL, SoC architecture, IP integration, verification, performance analysis)
- Proven experience designing and specifying graphical user interfaces for complex technical products
- Experience with modern front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Fluency in French and English
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Microelectronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Estimated Base Salary
€70,000 to €100,000 gross annually.
Your base salary will be determined based on your , experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
