Plant Manager

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

• Managing all matters specifically related to Admin and HR functions as follows:
  • Staff / manpower requirement & in-take.
  • Overall discipline issue.
  • Customs department & other government related department.
  • Payroll.
  • As a system coordinator.
  • Plant security.
• All generally related Production functions as follows:
  • Scheduling & Past Due Hours.
  • Capacity issue.
  • Quality related issues & activities.
  • Shipping & freight issues.
• Lead the Scheduled Waste Team and also the Safety Committee.
• Special projects; as and when instructed by Management on any plant operation issue.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

POSITION IS ON A ROTATION BASIS TO THE JB, PENANG, VIETNAM & CHINA MANUFACTURING SITES AND WILL REQUIRE OVERSEAS POSTINGS.
