Position Summary:
Piyush Goswami, Director of Software Engineering for Methodics at Perforce is searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team. We are looking for an individual who will work in an agile product development process with a state-of-the art CI/CD environment with core values of results, teamwork, ownership, quality of work, problem solving, and service to external and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web client application using modern technology stack and intuitive user experience;
- Work with Product Managers and other engineering team members in EMEA, USA and Asia for seamless integration with services and components;
- Solve high complexity engineering problems, while enabling high performance user experience;
- Mentor and guide junior/new frontend engineers;
- Analyze, research and develop new features;
- Debug issues with integrations and performance;
- Help to keep and improve automated test coverage;
- Build responsive and elegant web UI;
- Help the support team solve any complicated issues the clients might have;
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience for Senior Software Engineer or 2+ years of experience for Software Engineer delivering enterprise software products to market;
- Extensive experience for Senior Software Engineer or intermediate experience for Software Engineer in JavaScript technologies, including modern frameworks, such as VueJs, ReactJS and similar;
- Excellent understanding of frontend technology stack: CSS frameworks, HTML5, JavaScript, server-side components, such as Node.js;
- Ability and experience in developing web applications with performance and scalability in mind
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred;
- Experience with different build tools (Maven, Gradle etc.);
- Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility;
- Good command of English, both verbal and written;
- Passion for software development and quality.
