Sales Engineer – Delphix
Position Summary:
The Delphix business at Perforce is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with our enterprise account teams across APAC.
This is a role for someone who wants to operate at the front line of complex enterprise deals, influencing strategy, shaping customer thinking, and playing a decisive role in winning high-value business.
You will work directly with the customer to solve data risk, security, and environment management challenges, positioning Delphix as a critical platform in modern enterprise data strategies.

Your Impact
- Serve as the technical lead of enterprise deals, from early qualification through to close
- Shape deal strategy with Account Executives, influencing win probability, deal size, and velocity
- Lead deep technical discovery to uncover pain, risk, and opportunity
- Establish credibility quickly with senior technical and business stakeholders, become the trusted technical advisor
- Drive Proof of Value engagements that clearly demonstrate measurable business impact
- Position Delphix against competitors by controlling the technical narrative
- Translate architecture into business outcomes, risk reduction, speed, cost efficiency, compliance with ROI
- Contribute to a high-performance culture where winning matters and knowledge is shared
- Provide insight to product and engineering teams to influence future innovation and direction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead advanced technical engagements across data, infrastructure, and security domains
- Deliver sharp, tailored demos that resonate with both engineers and executives
- Run hands-on workshops and POVs that prove value in real customer environments
- Build multi-threaded relationships across engineering, data, and leadership teams
- Partner with sales to navigate complex organisations and accelerate deal progression
- Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and architecture evaluations
- Provide competitive insight and field intelligence to sharpen positioning
- Influence product direction with real-world customer feedback

Experience
- 3–5+ years in enterprise pre-sales / sales engineering roles
- 5–8+ years in data platforms, databases, dev/test environments, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of data management, enterprise architecture, or test data challenges
- Proven experience running complex PoVs, workshops, and technical validations to meet success criteria.
- Ability to engage across APAC markets from a Singapore base
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
