Overview of Role  As a RF Design Leader (Senior Manager / Deputy Director), you will lead and manage RF design teams up to 30 people on projects in advanced technologies, with a focus on Design and Technology Co-optimization (DTCO).  You will report to the Director of RF Solutions.  The role is located in San Jose, CA and we are currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.

Responsibilities

  • A multifaceted role, you’ll be working in partnership with process technology (fab) and the customer-facing business development teams.
  • The preferred candidate will be strongly technical with an interest and/or experience engaging with customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% annually (International).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working in RF IC industry in device, circuit, and product levels, with at least 5 years in RF transceiver designs (including cellular, wi-fi, Bluetooth)
  • Familiar with RF design flows and simulations tools (Spectre-RF, HFSS …)
  • Proficiency with process technologies to drive Design Technology Co-optimization for chip-level PPA advantages
  • A good track record of leading a team of at least 20 people through product execution
  • Relevant Master’s or PhD (ie Electrical or Electronics Engineering)
  • Great communication and presentation skills for all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communications skills in English
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
