About the Job:

You will be part of a full cycle product development team and will work on the design, implementation, and testing of Keysight market leading products that help connect and secure the world.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing analog and digital circuits
  • Leading component selection
  • Schematic entry
  • PCB/PCA design
  • Signal integrity analysis
  • Electrical characterization and debug
  • System EMC design and debug

This work will involve the support of your project team, working collaboratively to deliver innovative and market-leading products and solutions to Keysight customers.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent applicable experience
  • 5+ years of experience in analog circuit design, verify and debug process
  • Proven experience in the design, verification and debug of digital and analog circuits
  • Knowledge of circuit theory, transmission line theory, and high-speed signal design
  • Printed circuit board design experience including experience with high-speed signal integrity
  • Experience with CAD/CAE design tools
  • Experience with signal integrity analysis process through simulation
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and tackle challenging tasks
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design
  • Hands-on experience in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc. to validate analog designs
  • Experience in working with production test engineers to produce test plans and design for testability details
  • Solid experience with bias, opamps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, low power oscillators, PLLs, VGAs, feedback and compensation techniques, DC-DC converters

Desired Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge and analytical understanding of mixed-signal design techniques
  • Experience with designing for EMC and debugging related issue
  • Understanding of data converter architectures and design trade-offs
  • Good knowledge of high precision techniques in presence of device mismatch
  • Experience in chip integration working with Digital Design and Physical Design teams
  • Basic understanding of FPGA design and programming
  • Experience in ASIC design experience in different application fields is a plus
  • Experience in C/Matlab/VerilogA modeling
  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design
  • Experience in working with production test engineers to produce test plans and design for testability details
  • Experience in Vector Network Analyzer measurements and system design
