The Program Manager leads the scoping and planning of key programs and successfully executes the program against established commitments.   Serves as the central focal point of contact, and coordinates and manages internal and external communication of cross-functional teams across all levels of ANSYS and customer management.   Provides the central collaboration point between Account Management and Services Delivery

Tasks associated with this position include:

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goal, requirements and deliverables
  • Defines project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develops and manages Program level initiatives and coordinating project plans
  • Manage and track project resource allocations, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborates with Account Management team and Services team to position next phase / program
  • Identifies and escalates issues, drives problems to resolution, develops recovery plans for complex issues
  • Identifies and manages project risk
  • Escalates and interacts with ANSYS and customer management for status and issue resolution
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential for this role
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel


  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering and/or business or related field
  • Experience working in engineering / product development environment
  • Proven experience in program management
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives
  • Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
  • Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer
  • Projects a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
  • Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills


  • PMP Certification
  • MS degree preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Fluent in English
