Job Summary:
Altair is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Engineering student for 2022. This is a paid internship opportunity. Altair transforms design and decision making by applying simulation, machine learning and optimization throughout product life-cycles. Our broad portfolio of simulation technology and patented units-based software licensing model enable Simulation-Driven Innovation™ for our customers. Altair serves more than 12,000 customers across broad industry segments.
What You Will Do:
- Create Proof of Concept examples of wireless coverage and RF network analysis.
- Explore the examples of identified features of HyperWorks tools namely, WinProp and WRAP.
- Extend the examples application to complex problems both custom build and from customers.
- Support HW customers by phone calls, emails.
- Documentation of various process and analysis.
- Presentation and training of HW to Altair customers.
What You Will Need:
- Must be at least Junior standing currently, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s preferred.
- U.S. Citizen required due to government contract work.
- Aptitude for solving engineering problems.
- Knowledge of WinProp and/or other propagation analysis software like Atoll, Asset, iBwave, Wireless Insight, etc.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be driven and excited to learn new technology.
