Government-backed Japan Investment Corporation (JIC) completes takeover of JSR

Government-backed Japan Investment Corporation (JIC) completed takeover of Japanese photoresist manufacturer JSR, which previously acquired Inpria, the maker of metal oxide photoresists. There are ongoing lawsuits, where Inpria accused Lam of using its technology, while SUNY accused Inpria of unauthorized commercialization. This is one of the more clearly visible cases where US-originated technology now resides elsewhere.

Interesting to see governments jump in to control advanced photoresists. Now we have Japanese government, China government, Korea and US governments join the circus soon?
