We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support core manufacturing operations at HFTC. This role focuses on Lean, continuous improvement, and capacity support, MES configuration and sustainment, and scheduling and flow improvement. The Industrial Engineer will help maintain operational data, assist with the rollout and stabilization of future MES and scheduling systems, and work cross functionally with Operations, Procurement, and Engineering to address day to day factory needs. The position also supports ongoing improvement efforts by analyzing process performance, identifying constraints, and contributing to initiatives that enhance factory efficiency, stability, and throughput.

Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Capacity Support

  • Support continuous improvement by analyzing processes, identifying waste, and recommending workflow and stability enhancements.
  • Assist in capacity modeling by collecting accurate data, validating assumptions, and summarizing insights for production planning.
  • Contribute to improvement planning by identifying opportunities from operational data, prioritizing initiatives, and maintaining visibility of progress.
  • Identify constraints and performance gaps using flow, WIP, and cycle‑time data, quantify improvement opportunities, and help drive sustained improvements.

MES Configuration

  • Support the MES installation project by assisting with requirement gathering, workflow mapping, and data preparation.
  • Help coordinate between engineering, operations, and IT/OT teams to ensure the MES installation aligns with factory needs.
  • Assist with documentation, training materials, and user readiness activities for the MES rollout.
  • Support post‑installation stabilization by helping identify issues, collecting feedback, and tracking fixes.

Flow Improvement and Scheduling

  • Collect and analyze flow, WIP, and cycle‑time data to support improvement projects and daily operations.
  • Assist with implementing standard work, visual controls, and systems to stabilize flow.
  • Support production scheduling by reviewing tool availability, WIP levels, and constraints to help ensure realistic and efficient schedules.
  • Help identify bottlenecks and opportunities to reduce queue times or improve throughput
