Account Manager – Automobile
Job Summary:
As part of a dynamic and ambitious international team, your role is to develop Altair’s position with accounts in the automotive industry.
You are responsible for selling all Altair solutions and services to your customers and proposing innovative and differentiating offers in response to their needs.
As a member of the Altair team, you will collaborate closely and effectively with all departments (sales, pre-sales, support, services, marketing, development, legal) to ensure an excellent customer experience with Altair.
You maintain strong customer relationships and develop connections with your clients’ management.
Within the Auto team, your missions will be as follows:
What you will do:
- Develop account plans,
- Visit all of your customers,
- Prospect and discover new opportunities,
- Conduct contractual and commercial negotiations,
- Communicate and collaborate with the entire Auto team,
- Manage complex sales cycles and coordinate with overseas marketing, sales and technical support departments to achieve desired results,
- Carry out competitive monitoring in your sector.
What you will need:
- Master’s degree or higher in engineering
- Commercial orientation and first commercial experience in a high-tech environment (Software, value selling) during an internship or similar experience
- You have a commercial mindset, are not afraid of challenges and are eager to prove yourself against sales metrics
- You have a sense of coaching and enjoy working in a multicultural environment
- You have experience in complex sales and knowledge of long-cycle sales
- You are comfortable selling high value-added solutions
- You are results oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- French driving license and ability to travel (50%)
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory
