Overview of Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Director, HR Business Partner to join our HR team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving organizational success. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices. TSMC is currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance organizational performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
- Work with HR professionals providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure effective service delivery.
- Partner with departments to identify workforce needs and develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Oversee the implementation and management of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives to support growth and transformation.
- Lead the resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in its HR practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnering and leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 10%-20% in a year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in organizational development and change management at high tech industry is a plus.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
