What you will do
We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Business Development Representative to join our team in Tokyo. This junior position is ideal for candidates with a passion for technology and a background in inside sales or call center sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales team to drive business growth.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound calls, emails, and social media.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients by understanding their needs and presenting suitable solutions.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for senior sales representatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and results.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and Altair’s product offerings.
What you will need
- Fluency in Japanese and Business English.
- Some knowledge of IT and technology solutions.
- Previous experience in inside sales, call center sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a sales mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
