Dan is joined by Ritesh Jain. Ritesh is the senior vice president of engineering and operations for Lightmatter. Prior to joining Lightmatter, Ritesh was a vice president in Intel’s Data Center and AI group where he directed the hardware development across silicon packaging, power integrity, signal integrity, mechanical & thermal engineering solutions essential for the data center product roadmap.
Over the two decades at Intel, Ritesh built and led several cross-functional engineering teams globally and was a part of several major technology transitions and initiatives for datacenter products.
Ritesh discusses the technology and products delivered by Lightmatter and how silicon photonics-based computing and interconnect can decrease power and increase performance for advanced AI designs. Ritesh discusses the details of how Lightmatter technology can deliver substantial performance improvements and power reduction, allowing a continuation of Moore’s Law.
