Your Mission as a Product Engineer at Arteris

We are looking for a Product Engineer specializing in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and more specifically in the assembly and integration of complex Systems-on-Chip (SoCs).

You will be responsible for defining future graphical (GUI) and command-line (API) features, working directly with marketing, application engineers, and customers. The product you’ll be working on is Magillem (Magillem Connectivity and Magillem Registers).

You will define, specify, and contribute to the implementation of powerful, scalable features that enable chip architects and SoC designers to use our solutions effectively.

Must-have skills for the position:

  • In-depth technical understanding of semiconductor design flows
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog
  • Knowledge of front-end design or verification
  • Strong interest in graphical interfaces
  • English (C1 minimum)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management, developers, and architects to write detailed, comprehensive specifications for new features and product improvements, particularly those related to the graphical interface
  • Design, implement, and validate functional prototypes or mockups of new features
  • Work iteratively to refine concepts based on internal and customer feedback
  • Interact with customers and internal teams to gather and incorporate product feedback
  • Ensure that new features are delivered on time and meet customer needs
  • Contribute operationally to UX design where relevant: the graphical interface is based on internal features, so you need to understand what lies beneath — the back end. You’ll need to check error cases, mandatory fields, and so on
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to product thinking
  • Support product management in roadmap planning and feature prioritization
  • Write and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, release notes, and knowledge base content
  • Use modern specification and project management tools (Confluence, Jira)

Desired Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor design/verification, EDA tools, and/or complex engineering software
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor design flows (RTL, SoC architecture, IP integration, verification, performance analysis, etc.)
  • Experience designing and specifying graphical interfaces for complex technical products
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams

Estimated Compensation

Between €70,000 and €100,000 gross per year.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, level of responsibility, and positioning relative to colleagues in similar roles.
