Senior Electronics Test Reporting Manager – Flex IC’s

Overview

We are actively seeking a Senior Electronics Test Reporting Manager / Senior Data Analysis Manager with an understanding of Electronics to spearhead our approach to analysing data within the Technology team at Pragmatic. In addition to managing a small team of data scientists, this manager will; develop and maintain a suite of analysis tools and dashboards for viewing data, perform detailed analysis on electronic test data, and provide training and promote data science best practice to a broad spectrum of internal teams including IC design, Validation and Test. We also expect this individual to work with the Senior Test Development Director and key individuals across the business to set strategy for data system development.

Key tasks

• Oversee a small team of data scientists.  This would include being a driver for the continuous professional development of team to meet current and future objectives.
• Develop and maintain software tools & dashboards for data analysis.  You should be mindful of such things as Tool up times as well as their suitability a fit for purpose.  We’d be looking for this person to develop a road map for tools.
• Perform analysis of electronic measurement data.
• Develop and lead a data analysis training program for engineers and scientists across the technology department.
• Ability to work independently and part of a wider team by contributing to the development of Pragmatic’s data analysis strategy.

Qualifications and training

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field

Skills and experience

• Ideally some leadership experience, or a strong desire to be a people manager
• Understanding of Electronic principles
• Experienced user of one or more of: R, Python or Tableau.
• Experience writing SQL queries to access data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with Git or related tool for version control.
• Test Data Analysis and documentation in the form of comprehensive validation reports.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously.
