About the role
Join our European Design Center in Prague, Czech Republic and work on cutting-edge CMOS technologies including FinFETs and GAA. What you’ll do
The IT Manager position is a highly impactful and visible position at Analog Bits. The individual in this position is responsible for the supervision, implementation, and maintenance of the Company’s computing needs in the Prague Design Center. Also, the IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within the Prague Design Center. The individual in this role works closely with the IT Manager in Headquarters and the Company’s IT consulting group.
- Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
- Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems so that they operate effectively.
- Assure that all IT activities are performed within the parameters of the Company’s applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Perform help desk activities to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
- Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.
Qualifications
- 2 -3 experience in IT administration or management.
- Experience with implementing security systems policy and procedures.
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent experience.
