Job Description

The central operations quality and assurance group in Arm is responsible for enabling and facilitating continuous improvement of product quality and partner experience. The Graduate Quality Engineer will accomplish this through analysing metrics, partner feedback, and structured problem solving to identify the best improvements. As an IP quality engineer at Arm you will have global exposure to a variety of departments and function across Arm sites with the opportunity to travel.

What will I be accountable for?

  • Collaborate with IP engineering teams to facilitate and enable continuous improvement across Arm by analysing partner feedback and metrics to drive the best corrective and preventative actions.
  • Metric analysis and monitoring – ensure for released products all customer reported defects are recorded, tracked and resolved. In addition, help identify and track engineering efficiency and effectiveness metrics.
  • Corrective & Preventative Action – ensure the appropriate improvements are raised, tracked and implemented in a timely manner as a result of defects, audits, lessons learned and customer feedback.
  • Assurance and Audit – Supporting the performance of existing process by auditing teams execution against quality standards.

What skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?

  • Bachelors (BS) in Computer Engineering/Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or other related area.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with a programming acumen.
    Experience with tools like Tableau and the like, MS SQL, Python or any other programming language.
  • Familiarization with teamwork and documentation tools such as Office 365, MS Teams, Sharepoint, JIRA, or Confluence.
  • Familiarization with quality management tools such as defect monitoring/analysis, root cause analysis, six sigma or lean concepts, ISO 9001 standards or audit is a plus.
  • Passion to see excellence in quality and continuous improvement in Arm.
  • An effective change agent with a strong focus on end results and the ability to infuse trust while providing structured plans to stakeholders.
  • Good social skills to enable networking in a dynamic, global team/organization
