HVAC Operations Engineer

The Facilities department’s mission is to ensure the operation and competitiveness of our industrial site. With an eye toward increased activity, Sébastien is recruiting an Air & Water (A&W) Operations Engineer to join his HVAC team.

• Within the division, you are responsible for a broad technical scope covering all air treatment installations.
• With the HVAC team, you build and implement the maintenance and operations strategy for this area, in order to guarantee availability at the highest standards, and in line with the needs of manufacturing and consumers.
• To carry out this role, you manage and pilot the operating and maintenance contracts for these facilities.
• This management will be carried out via performance indicators that will also reflect the work undertaken to achieve Soitec’s ambitions and commitments in terms of reducing our energy consumption and impacts. In this capacity, you will formalize and share a roadmap consistent with these commitments and our certifications.
• You also contribute, with the centers of expertise, to numerous projects for various subjects such as the adjustment of our industrial capacities and the evolution of our waste treatments.
• You work daily with the team in charge of the “air” area.

• With a technical background as an engineer, you have at least 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment in maintenance and operation of production/distribution/air treatment systems (HVAC).
• You complement these skills with general knowledge in energy management.
• You have very good interpersonal skills and know how to work in a team.
• You are rigorous and demanding in your role as “client.” You know how to deal with the unexpected and appreciate versatility.
