Summary:
The candidate must provide high-level network design and implementation skills and combine technical intelligence with cross-cultural communication and presentation abilities. The candidate must be capable of self-directed work with strong leadership and client relationship skills focused on driving the complete enterprise network infrastructure and digital workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guides complex research, design, development, and implementation of new and emerging
technologies, platforms, and services. - Develop product configuration guidelines, training, rollout, and implementation support for technical architecture projects.
- Applies advanced skills to independently resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices.
- Displays critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and cross-functional problems.
- Provide third-tier support and escalation point for all network and infrastructure functions – switching, routing, wireless, client management, On-premise, hybrid, and cloud Active Directory Infrastructure, Exchange, Office 365, Intune device, and mobile device management, etc.
- Design, architect, and manage network infrastructure that best supports business and cloud-first initiatives
- Collaborate with Technical Architects in network and other systems domain designs
- Lead cross-functional teams to define technical solutions
- Limited travel of 10-15% is required to support satellite offices; employees must be able to provide transportation to and from satellite offices and transport desktop-related hardware if needed.
- After-hours, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on work volume, outages, and emergencies.

Education/Knowledge/Experience:
- BS/BA in a related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. - Three to six years of successful experience in Information Technology.
- Four years of working knowledge/experience of working and supporting Microsoft technologies
Preferred Certificates / Licenses
- A+ Certification
- Network+ Certification
- Microsoft certifications such as MCITP, MTA, and MCSE/MCSA.
Essential Job Knowledge
- Requires excellent customer service and organizational skills to support executives, department heads, supervisors, administrative personnel, engineers, and staff.
- Advanced understanding of desktop software/hardware, including printer hardware, and the subsequent implementation, support, and repair.
- Advanced understanding of desktop Operating Systems from Microsoft
- Moderate understanding of operating systems and hardware from Apple
- Ability to read/write/modify object-oriented programming and scripting technologies: PowerShell, and JavaScript
- Advanced experience with using one or more of the following device management tools: SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Active Directory.
- Advanced understanding of Linux-based Operating Systems.
- Advanced understanding of networking protocols, topology, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced understanding of technology such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, TCP/IP, LDAP, and ActiveSync.
- Advanced to moderate understanding of modern mobile technologies and their implementation in a corporate environment. Must be completely comfortable with the support of mobile technology.
- Experience in video conference technology and support.
- Experience and knowledge in VoIP telephony
