Job Summary:

Our client in Auburn Hills, MI is looking for a Technical Program Manager E-Mobility.  This is a long-term contract position.

What You Will Do:

The position offers e-powertrain development, testing and calibration program management opportunity, providing balanced technical and managerial tasks. The position offers significant latitude for personal growth, planning and influence on program success. Besides timely program management, the position also requires the skills to develop new methods and processes for an efficient program execution. Seeking qualified electrical or mechanical engineers with 5+ years of experience to fill multiple positions in multiple locations for the highly competitive E-Mobility division.

What You Will Need:

  • Must have strong technical knowledge in the E-Mobility system and components
  • Battery, E-Motor, Inverter, DC-DC, On-Board-Charger
  • Strong technical knowledge in electric vehicle (BEV) testing, calibration and range optimization
  • Strong knowledge in in-use vehicle conformity testing for drivability, performance and durability
  • Must have strong fundamentals in electrical system design and implementation for high voltage battery electric vehicles.
  • Must be have high-voltage safety knowledge, design and implementation experience.
  • Must have strong knowledge in high-voltage system and component integration and design implementation.
  • Must have professional experience in Hybrid and Electric vehicle launches in USA.
  • Professional communication skills to interact with clients
  • Organized project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills
  • Skilled in handling and dealing with project technical issues and finding creative ways to resolve them
  • Project finances and budget management
  • Project work coordination, team management, task follow-up, calibration readiness evaluation
  • Strong knowledge in legislation for CARB, EPA, FMVSS, DOT, China and EU certification
  • Strong knowledge in requirements, software, controls and calibration data management
  • Strong in fundamental engineering to understand complex interacting systems
  • Good understanding of functional safety, HDOBD regulations and calibration work planning experience
  • Skilled in handling MS-Word, Excel, Project, Outlook

Preferred:

  • Candidates with Master’s and PhD degree are preferred
  • Candidates should have degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of technical project management experience
  • Proven track record and good references are preferred
