Technical Communication Engineer II

– Works independently with peers and under supervision of more senior colleagues to write and produce product documentation and other content to support software releases
– Plans, organizes, and writes product documentation both independently and under the supervision of senior colleagues
– Produces related release collateral, such as video demos, blogs, application notes, rapid adoption kits, error messages, nuggets, or man help, in collaboration with technical communications and cross-functional peers and under supervision of senior colleagues
– Helps define and implement an appropriate structure and organization for the documentation of one or more individual products
– Acquires and organizes source material, including applicable specifications and engineering write-ups
– Generates, analyzes, and acts on reports for monitoring documentation completeness and quality; for example, comparison reports between software and documentation, CCR reports, other metrics
– May provide some guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleagues
